Polished Tech LLC Statement of Work

How this works: The Service Agreement contains the general terms that apply to Polished Tech services. This Statement of Work documents the specific project or work being authorized. For routine troubleshooting or short support visits, a separate SOW may not be necessary.

1. Client & Project

The client identified in the acceptance form below is requesting the project or service described in this Statement of Work. If the engagement is for a business, the signer confirms they are authorized to approve the work on the business's behalf.

2. Scope of Work

Polished Tech will perform the specific work described in the Agreed Scope / Project Description field below and any related written quote, email, or proposal referenced by the client and Polished Tech. Work outside that scope is not automatically included.

3. Pricing

Unless a different written quote is accepted, services are billed at $125 per hour. Onsite work has a one-hour minimum and is billed in 15-minute increments thereafter. Remote work has a 30-minute minimum and is billed in 15-minute increments thereafter.

Hardware, software, subscriptions, licenses, shipping, and third-party services are additional unless specifically included in an accepted quote.

4. Estimates & Changes

Estimated hours, completion dates, and project costs are good-faith estimates unless Polished Tech specifically agrees to a fixed price in writing. If the scope changes, unexpected conditions are discovered, or additional work is requested, Polished Tech may pause the project and obtain approval before proceeding.

5. Client Responsibilities

The client will provide reasonable access to the devices, accounts, locations, information, credentials, internet service, and decision-makers needed to perform the work. The client remains responsible for maintaining appropriate backups and for ensuring they are authorized to provide access to any system, account, or data involved in the project.

6. Scheduling & Completion

Target dates are estimates unless otherwise agreed in writing. Delays caused by customer availability, third-party vendors, shipping, internet providers, software vendors, hardware availability, or other circumstances outside Polished Tech's reasonable control may affect completion.

7. Acceptance of Work

The client should review completed work promptly and notify Polished Tech of any concerns related to the agreed scope. Additional requests or changes after completion may be treated as new billable work.

8. Service Agreement Controls

This SOW is incorporated into and governed by the Polished Tech LLC IT Support Service Agreement. If there is a conflict between this SOW and a project-specific written quote signed by both parties, the more specific written project terms will control for that engagement.

ACCEPT BASIC SOW

Authorize this project

Use this form after Polished Tech and the client have agreed on the project details. Keep the scope description specific enough that both parties understand what is being approved.

A record of this submission will be sent to Polished Tech. For larger or unusual projects, Polished Tech may provide a separate custom SOW or proposal instead.
